Reason for applying
“Waterhound software brings intelligence to understanding wastewater, energy and chemical risks sources and solutions. We believe Waterhound can make a substantive, data-based contribution to identifying toxic loads in local water supplies and to generate suggested natural and low-cost treatment solutions and plans to protect the integrity of water quality for local communities. Waterhound partners with NGOs in their work with local governments, water service providers, universities and artisanal miners to be equipped with independent data to inform decisions and to identify, vet and select the optimal and cost-effective solution to ensure wastewater from artisanal mining - or other sources - are effectively treating wastewater to meet local, national and/or best practice treatment standards for safe disposal to the environment.”
