Reason for applying
“BAN Toxics has been working with ASM communities in the Philippines and abroad for close to a decade. Our experiences working as community organizers and researchers have led us to ask ourselves - how do we use our existing knowledge to solve key issues that have been present in our communities for years? The ASGM AI Management System is a culmination of all our various projects over the years and serves as a continuation of these efforts. Funding from the ASM Grand Challenge will help us realize these ideas and jumpstart the development of meaningful long-term solutions for mining communities.”
