Accelerating Innovation for Artisanal and Small-Scale Mining Operations in the Amazon
Challenge Round 2.
Conservation X Labs will run a second round of the Artisanal Mining Grand Challenge focused on implementation in the Amazon region. We plan to launch Round 2 in the first quarter of 2021 with $500K in prize purse.
Acceleration & Testing.
Complementing the Challenges, Conservation X Labs will run an accelerator program and offer field-testing opportunities in the Amazon region. We plan to support 2 cohorts of companies in an accelerator program and will provide additional information on testing as it becomes available.
Promotion & Adoption.
Conservation X Labs will run InnovationXChange events to feature innovations and innovators in the Amazon region. The two-day events will include interactive activities and presentations to encourage community building, experience exchange, and to make connections for sales, investment, and innovation adoption around the common goal of making ASM more environmentally friendly and socially equitable.
